Vintage Head Sculpture

Vintage handmade clay sculpture of an African American man, probably an art class project or similar endeavor. Nicely executed with fine facial details. Semi-hollow core but heavy and sturdy. The bust appears to have an acrylic and clear-gloss finish. Rich maroonish-brown in color.

Measures about 10" tall x 7" wide. It is about 9" deep from his chin to the back of his head.

Found in eastern Ohio

Fine vintage condition with no cracks or breaks. There is some very minor chipping and discoloration around the base edge. There is a small area at the rear base of the head/hair which was not painted, though this is only visible when viewed from underneath.
