Vintage Indian Chalkware Plaque

Very nice painted chalkware or plaster relief wall plaque. Features an American Indian warrior on horseback in a wooded setting. The back was noted in permanent marker, "This is very old antique from David for my 65th Birthday 2-26-92".

Measures about 14- 1/2" tall x 12- 1/4" wide. About 1- 3/4" at its thickest point.

Fine vintage condition, especially considering the fragile nature of old chalkware. Some minor blemishes and scrapes, as expected, with what appears to be some minor paint touch-up's. There are some minor chips and loss around the outer oval edge. Overall it retains its color well and displays very nicely.

Ready to hang with wire and rope on the rear, as found.
