Wood Painted Fireplace Cover

Wooden hand-painted fireplace cover. Features a sailing ship with wonderful folky red-white-blue and gold border. Made from 3/4" pine boards

The ship is named "Walker", as this was a gift or commission for longtime collectors Bob and Donna Walker. Obtained directly from their estate in southwestern Pennsylvania. Likely dates to the 1970's or 80's

Measures 36" wide x 36" tall. 3/4" thick (plus additional 3/4" thickness of the rear bracing)

Excellent vintage condition. Very minor crackling as well as some minor loss around the edges

Found in Western Pennsylvania; ex-Bob and Donna Walker collection
